Shake Shack Is Releasing a Boozy Milkshake Inspired by ‘Will & Grace’

Shake Shack excels at two different things: food (obvi…even Ina Garten can’t resist their chicken sandwich) and innovative food and pop culture mashups (we’re still drooling over the Doughnut Plant concrete “Jelly’s Last Donut”). Keeping in line with the latter, the New York-based hamburger joint will be releasing two Will & Grace-themed milkshakes that, quite frankly, sound like something we’d absolutely want to sip on during the show’s premiere on Sept. 28.

Available from Sept. 18 to Oct. 1, the Will & Grace duo will feature a booze-filled (appropriate) Jack and Karen featuring prosecco with strawberry frozen custard, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and raspberry dust, as well as a Will and Grace with cinnamon marshmallow frozen custard with Shack fudge, whipped cream, and cinnamon sugar.

While the idea of an alcoholic and s’mores-inspired shake probably sounds appealing to millions of TV watchers, the limited edition flavors will only be available at two New York locations (Herald Square and the Upper West Side) and two in Los Angeles (Hollywood and West Hollywood). That certainly warrants a major “whomp, whomp,” but nobody is stopping you from pouring a few shots of your favorite bottle into a homemade shake. (If you’re hoping to amp up the Will and Grace variety, we’d recommend a good spiced rum or marshmallow-flavored vodka.).

Those who are lucky enough to live on either coast and snag the delicious, albeit somewhat unseasonal treat, your indulgence is worth all the empty calories, Shake Shack will be partnering with GLAAD and NBC to donate $2 of each shake to support the advocacy group’s efforts to “share culture-changing LGBTQ stories.” And there’s nothing like breaking your post-summer diet for a good cause.

Needless to say, you don’t need to be excited about the Emmy-award show’s return to enjoy these creamy concoctions. That’s just the cherry on top.
